The Board
The 10'2" Ride is a super-versatile all-round paddleboard designed specifically for lightweight paddlers and aspiring SUP surfers. Sharing the same award-winning DNA as the famous Ride range, its narrower 29" width creates a more agile and playful feel on the water.
Whether you're cruising on flat water, exploring rivers, paddling coastal waters or catching your first waves, the 10'2" Ride delivers a fantastic balance of stability, manoeuvrability and performance.
Its rounded nose and tail shape help maintain stability while allowing the board to turn easily and respond quickly to rider input. The narrower outline also makes paddling more efficient and helps smaller riders achieve better paddle technique and board control.
At just 4" thick, the board sits lower on the water than many inflatable paddleboards. This improves balance, reduces the effect of crosswinds and creates a more connected feel between rider and board. Combined with its 182-litre volume, the result is a board that feels lively and responsive while remaining confidence inspiring.
Construction
The 10'2" Ride is built using Red Paddle Co's exclusive MSL® (Monocoque Structural Laminate) technology.
MSL® is widely regarded as the world's leading drop-stitch material and is manufactured exclusively to Red Paddle Co's exact specifications.
The high-density drop-stitch core combined with reinforced laminate layers creates an incredibly durable board that can withstand pressures in excess of 22 PSI, delivering outstanding stiffness and long-term reliability.
Red's patented Rocker Stiffening System (RSS) battens further increase rigidity, ensuring the board performs exceptionally well both on flat water and in surf conditions.
