The Riding Not Hiding Quick Release SUP Safety Belt is an essential piece of safety equipment for paddleboarding on inland waters such as rivers, lakes and canals.

Designed to work with your existing ankle leash, the belt moves the leash attachment point from your ankle to your waist. This keeps the leash out of the water, reducing drag and making paddling more comfortable, while also allowing you to quickly release the leash if it becomes caught or snagged.

We’re a team of paddlers, shapers, and board builders who’ve spent more time on the water — and fixing what breaks — than most.

The SUP Store started with a simple idea: offer the kind of gear we actually trust. The boards we ride, the paddles we use, the robes we live in after every session. No gimmicks. No hype. Just good kit that works.

OUR STORY

Back in 2012, our founder began repairing and shaping boards in a small workshop on the south coast. What started as late nights with resin and sandpaper turned into something much bigger — a growing community of paddlers who wanted honest gear and good advice.

Today, we’re still here on the water in Christchurch, Dorset, surrounded by tide, salt, and a few too many boards. It’s not fancy, but it’s exactly where we belong.

WHAT WE DO

We stock and test boards, paddles, robes, accessories & teach wthat we genuinely believe in — gear that’s built to last and perform in real conditions. Everything we sell has been tried and tested by us or our community.
