The GO Surf is a great option if you want one hard board that can cruise but is also genuinely fun in the surf. The wider nose and flat deck give you plenty of stability, while the thinner rails and surf-inspired shape make it much more responsive when you step back and catch a wave. A great board for progressing your SUP surfing without going straight onto a dedicated surf shape.
The Board
The GO Surf combines a rounded, full nose with a stable tail to create a board that's easy to paddle on flat water while still offering the manoeuvrability needed in the surf.
Its flat deck uses the full width of the board, creating a reassuringly stable standing platform, particularly in choppier conditions. The thinner nose and tail reduce swing weight through turns while allowing the rails to engage more effectively on a wave.
A carefully optimised rocker provides good paddling speed and glide when cruising, with enough nose lift to help prevent pearling when catching waves. The moderate tail kick also helps lift the nose and tighten turns when surfing.
Surf Performance
A Vee bottom runs through the board to encourage smooth rail-to-rail transitions and make turning easier from the centre of the board.
