The iconic Ace Foilboard has now been brought into the inflatable range, creating one of the most compact and travel-friendly foilboards ever made — without sacrificing performance.
Designed for downwind SUP foiling and light-wind wingfoiling, the Ace Air Foil delivers an uncompromised ride with early lift, smooth glide, and exceptional stability. It also excels as a true crossover board, performing brilliantly for wingfoiling across both low- and high-wind conditions.
New Upgraded Carbon Plate
The redesigned carbon plate allows for faster, easier foil installation, with fixed nuts and bolts just like Starboard’s composite boards.
The plate is now 2 cm longer, increasing usable standing area for smoother, more stable takeoffs. A closed EVA deck pad seals the plug area completely, preventing water entry and keeping the board lighter during sessions.
Enhanced Stability & Control
The innovative V-shaped bottom, combined with a wider, flat standing deck and inverted EVA trays, is engineered for maximum stability.
This design provides greater comfort when paddling in chop and allows for a more forgiving, wider staggered stance — ideal for downwind starts, light-wind pumping, and rough-water conditions.
Deluxe Lite Construction
Starboard’s Deluxe Lite construction is the lightest inflatable technology in the range. Reduced weight helps you take off earlier, fly faster in lighter winds, and conserve energy with every stroke and pump.
Direct Foil Response
Starboard’s patented Top Plate Technology positions your feet just 1.5 cm above the foil, delivering immediate feedback and precise control.
Combined with the solid carbon standing plate, it eliminates the flex and wobble often associated with inflatable foilboards — giving a locked-in, composite-style ride feel.

Vee Bottom Shape
The unique Vee shape makes take-offs and touchdowns easier and more forgiving, improving overall stability and control for smoother transitions on and off the foil.
Wider Flat Deck
The EVA tray provides a wide, flat standing area for comfort and confidence in choppy waters. A forgiving stance is paired with a narrower hull underneath, maintaining speed and glide efficiency.
Narrow Tail
The narrower tail sinks easily for efficient takeoffs, while the more rounded nose reduces nose touchdowns for smoother recoveries.
Rail Edge Release & New EVA Plug
The 3D Rail Edge enhances planing before takeoff, while the EVA plug seals the foil mount for smoother water flow — reducing drag and boosting acceleration.
New Rocker Line
Increased nose and tail rocker improves early takeoffs and delivers more forgiving touchdowns, especially in uneven water.
Welded Rail Technology
Heat-welded seams create a fully airtight, mechanically bonded rail without glue. This increases durability and longevity and is used along the board and foil opening on all inflatable foilboards.
Adjustable Footstraps Included
With an 18 cm insert spacing, riders can fine-tune stance width for optimal trim and control.
